    • PS: Ibbott was complaining about how modern vampire movies make up random rules that contradict traditional lore. That’s been true since the beginning. The whole idea that vampires go POOF! when exposed to sunlight? That was made up for the movie Nosferatu. If you read 19th Century vampire novels, vamps can walk around in daylight, they’re just weaker than at night.

  1. Blade had a big fat vampire (the one Blade tortured). One of the henchman was bigger. Blade Trinity also had several bulky vampires played by Triple H and Dominic Purcell.

I am also surprised you all didn’t mention Buffy. I get that it is a show and not a movie, but still. But it showed a variety of vampires.

  2. I’m sure you’ve received a million emails on this, but Paul McGann was not the doctor in Alien 3, Charles Dance was. McGann was an inmate.

McGann is also officially considered The Eighth Doctor in Who canon due to the TV Movie he did in the 90s.

Also, you’re probably thinking of Jason Issac’s role in Event Horizon when you were thinking he was in Alien 3.

I’m used to shouting to myself when you get things wrong, it’s part of the charm of your great podcast, but this was like a succession of knock our blows that I had to write to you about.
