  1. I’ve been listening to the show for quite a while now and while I usually find the shows pretty entertaining myself, what I REALLY enjoy is walking over to a convenience store near my office and dropping the latest Filmsack movie on this one guy (Jonathan) who works there. Almost without fail he is able to rattle off the year (+/- 1 year) of the film, the top billed actors, typically the director and in varying degrees of detail SOME interesting back story about the film or the making of the film. Jonathan’s knowledge on these movies is nothing short of encyclopedic and the scariest thing (to me) is that movies are a distant second to his passion for comic books.

Anyway – I have tried to get him to listen to the show to no avail and even after asking him for films he thinks you should review he’s never really expressed interest. This morning after “dropping” last weeks “Drop Zone” on him out of the blue he suggested you guys look into some of the Sunn Pictures Classicsmovies famous for the “In Search of …” pictures that all of a sudden came rushing back to me from my youth – I absolutely loved those and have vivid memories in particular of the “In Search of Noah’s Ark” as well as one about Big Foot (although I can’t be sure this was an “In Search of..”)

Not sure if you can even get a hold of these outside of YouTube at this point but it looks like they have recently tried to get something going again and http://sunnclassicpicturesinc.com/ so there might be a pulse out there. They probably don’t fit into your typical movie profile but thought you might be interested in looking into them yourselves.

Well all-righty then – back to work for me

  2. You guys should get a Netflix sponsorship for this show. I’m thinking about joining just so I can keep up with what you’re watching each week.

  3. Hi guys love the podcast I’m 37 yrs old and from indiana. I think you guys should do the movie The Last Dragon. I love that movie by the way Meijer’s is pronounced ( myers). Thanks guys later.

  4. I worked in a video store for 10 years as a 2nd job just so I could get free movies. Grew up watching and loving movies of all type some classic, some godawfull. Joined netflix the first time I saw an ad because of their vast library of crappy movies. Never really listenned to podcasts until I was on leave from work and ran across yours. I now have listened to most of them and started to refresh my viewing of these classic schlocky films. It has given me a new perspective on movies that really need sacking. Some titles seem too good to sack but all have been worthy since most did not age well. I thank you for the great work you do and hope you continue for quite some time. When I catch up financialy I plan to sponsor a few episodes (it won’t be until April when 401k loan is paid off).
